Our Story

How it all started...



World Outreach Center, formerly known as Davison Full Gospel Church, was founded in the summer of 1982. Our first service was held on September 4, 1982, in a local elementary school. As the church continued to grow, we moved to the high school auditorium in 1985.

God continued to bless and increase the ministry, and in 1987 we broke ground on our own church building. We held our first service in the new sanctuary in 1988, where we continue to worship and minister today.

While much has changed over the years, our message has remained the same. We are committed to teaching the full counsel of God's Word without compromise. We are a Spirit-filled, Word of Faith church that believes in and practices the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Our foundation remains firmly rooted in Jesus Christ, who is "the same yesterday, today, and forever"
(Hebrews 13:8).


Expanding the vision...

As our church continues to grow we continue to stand on Colossians 2:6-7 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. We as a church have been taught the foundations of a believer, therefore we need to go out and share Jesus with people and bring them so they can also be rooted and built up in Him.

Where we are headed...

A few years ago, our church started a group called
Mid-Michigan fellowship for ministers, The purpose of this group is to provide the practical and spiritual support necessary to be successful in the ministry . I would like to see us be able to help beginning ministers get started and even plant new smaller churches.


Most importantly, we have to remember we all have a responsibility to help bring people to Jesus. In Matthew 28:18  Jesus said to go into all the World and make disciples of all the nations, help people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and , I am with you always. We all have a part, so what is yours .....
